First Blog Article!

Hi All, my name is Jennifer, and this is my first public blog! I am creating it as an outlet to express my thoughts on one of my favorite subjects–music. I listen to most anything–I think anyone who truly loves music is not confined by genres.

I have a couple of reasons that I wanted to start a music blog, I suppose It would be best if I briefly outline them here:

1) I want a place to record my thoughts and ideas, any random news or interesting music-related articles I might find, and really just to hear myself talk

2) I’m interested in hearing other peoples’ comments and ideas, as well as suggestions, so that I can broaden my horizons and delve even deeper into my hobby.

3) likewise, I hope maybe I can encourage others to try some new things and listen to some great music that maybe they wouldn’t have tried before! Perhaps give them a chance to step outside their imaginary boundaries and find out something new about themselves in the process.

4) Since last year, I have been working my way through a list of the 1001 greatest albums to hear before you die. Hopefully I’ll be able to use this blog to record my progress and my thoughts on each album as I listen to it.

Anyway, that is my brief introduction. I will try to do a real entry soon!
